Dr. Lucy Buckingham

Lucy has a background in Immunology and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Manchester, where she investigated the interactions between the respiratory and skin immune systems. She has experience in flow cytometry and analysing intracellular cytokine production, apoptotic and extracellular markers on immune cells. With a strong interest in understanding inflammatory and infectious diseases, along with a dedicated and meticulous approach to problem solving, she hopes to significantly contribute to the therapeutic and diagnostic advances that Virax Biolabs make in improving the quality of life for patients.
