Emily Weng

Emily is a peptide scientist specialising in automated solid-phase peptide synthesis. She holds a MChem in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh with her Master’s project focusing on Native Chemical Ligation of peptides. She has experience in synthesising difficult peptides as well as purifying and characterising a diverse range of peptides using HPLC and LC-MS. Emily uses her passion and expertise in peptide chemistry combined with her strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support the team at Virax Biolabs.
